L-553R Sol-U-Film™ Lite

Legacy 553 Sol-U-Film™ Lite is a lightweight, sew-in stabilizer that easily washes away in water of any temperature. It leaves no trace of the stabilizer on either side of the project. It can also be used as a liquid stabilizer. Great for projects such as: lace work, 3D designs, shadow work, and thread sketching.

General Directions:
[How to Use as a Stabilizer]

1. Secure Sol-U-Film Lite™ underneath fabric using a hoop or pins.
2. Stitch desired area.
3. Upon completion of stitching, gently tear away or trim away excess Sol-U-Film Lite™.
4. To remove all traces of the stabilizer, submerge project in any temperature water for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Iron dry using a press cloth.

Alternate Removal: Iron project between two damp paper towels or press cloths.

Tips:

— For a liquid stabilizer or temporary adhesive, dissolve 1 yard of Sol-U-Film Lite™ in 8 ounces of water and brush onto fabric
— For stronger stabilization, iron 2-3 layers together with a press cloth or dry iron.
