What dad would not be proud to receive this for Father’s Day? Use Lutradur® to make this quick and easy mug rug for the special dad in your life. This is an excellent and fun project for children and mothers to make together. Finished mug rug is 8” x 10”. Sample was made by Charlene Allison, age 12.

Materials Needed

  • One 21.6cm (8-1/2”) square Light cotton fabric for background 
  • Eight 3.8cm x 6.24cm (1-1/2“ x 2-1/2”) rectangles of bright cotton fabrics for stripes  
  • One 21.6cm x 26.7cm (8-1/2“ x 10-1/2”) rectangle Cotton fabric for the backing 
  • One 21.6cm x 26.7cm (8-1/2“ x 10-1/2”) rectangle Legacy L-FB-96 100% cotton batting 
  • One 21.6cm (8-1/2“) square Legacy L-PLD70 Craft Web Sheets 
  • One 21.6cm (8-1/2”) square Legacy L-805 Fuse-Under™ 
  • Thread
  • Fabrico® fabric pens Various colors
